Since 2017, Potter’s Music has delivered high quality tuition for Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Piano, Drums, as well as music theory and music production, in primary schools across North Essex and Suffolk, as well as from the comfort of our students homes.

MY STORY
I was raised in a very musical family and have been playing multiple instruments for many years. Music has always been a massive part of my life. After school I went on to study music at college level, before gaining my Foundation Degree in Music Performance. At degree level I was initially studying Music Performance, before switching to Music Production, so I’m well versed in all musical processes from its composition to the recording process to live sound engineering. Over the years I have gained experience working in different sectors of the music industry. I decided that I wanted to teach professionally at this point and I completed my PGCE in 2016, before working and training in therapeutic education where I mentored children with very complex needs on a 1 to 1 basis. I decided that I wanted to focus on music, so I then set up Potters Music is 2017 and since then it’s grown into what it is today!

Through experience and education, I understand the benefit that music, and especially learning a musical instrument, can bring to people’s lives.
I aim to provide high quality musical education that develops a students understanding of music as a whole and to bring people together, through music, with group sessions and workshops.
